Delivery Options
Astronomia offers Standard Delivery (up to 5 working days but usually within 48 hours) for £4.99
Collections must be made from our store in Dorking once you have been notified that it is available to pick up.
Astronomia aims to deliver your order within the timescale we have promised.
If we will be unable to deliver within this period, we will try to telephone you to explain why.
We use a combination of Royal Mail (signed-for delivery) and DHL to ensure your shipment is delivered safely.
Royal Mail shipments cannot be tracked, but delivery is recorded to ensure the goods have reached you.
DHL shipments are fully trackable. You will be notified of the tracking number(s) for your parcel(s) when the item is shipped, and you may track DHL (Yodel) shipments at http://tracking.yodel.co.uk
If your parcel arrives damaged
It is unlikely that your parcel will be damaged in transit - we have used DHL for a long time and very rarely experience any damage to our goods.
If your parcel does arrive damaged, you must first check the contents. If they have also been damaged, you should reject the delivery and request that it is returned to us. If not, you may accept the delivery but should note "box damaged" on the proof-of-delivery slip when signing.
You should then contact us as soon as possible to let us know what has happened. We will then inspect the goods when they are returned and discuss your options with you. We will usually either ship a replacement item or refund you if a replacement isn't available.
Whatever happens, rest assured that we will always do whatever we can to ensure you are happy with the product that you have purchased.
